From the reviews
My daughter was involved in many activities when she was young. ATA Martial arts was the longest presence in her life. From Tiny Tiger to adult black belt. This program taught our quiet, shy girl real confidence, and leadership traits that she uses still today.
Although we have visited ATA several times for day camps and birthday parties, we have yet to take lessons. We know many families and their children who have been taking lessons for years at this location and they absolutely love and recommend it.
I can't say enough good things about ATA in Tewksbury. My son has been going there for almost a year and he loves it. The teachers are simply amazing. They really pay attention to each child's form and technique to make sure they perform each move correctly. No child gets overlooked.
My daughter has loved being a part of ATA since she started over a year ago. She loves the instructors and challenging herself to each new belt ranking. It's been a pleasure watching her and the other students grow in this program. I'm so impressed with the level of training and expertise ATA provides.
Your first Krav Maga class at ATA MARTIAL ARTS
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
