Krav Maga programs, and where to train each

"Krav Maga class" isn't one thing. One school down the street runs a gentle beginners' class where nobody expects you to have trained before; another has a women's self-defense session, kids' classes after school, a Level 1 curriculum, a fitness-and-conditioning bootcamp, and one-on-one private lessons in between. The program decides who the class is for, how much pressure-testing is involved, and whether you leave having drilled technique or having worked a hard round of conditioning — so it's the first thing worth sorting out before you walk in. Each program below explains what it actually is and who it tends to suit, then links to schools nationwide that run it, with maps and state-by-state lists. Brand new? Start with Krav Maga for beginners, then find a school with a free intro class to try one.

Not sure which class to start with?

If you've never trained before, a class labelled beginners or the core adult Krav Maga class is the kind way in — practical technique first, at a pace that expects newcomers. Want a supportive, empowering room built around personal safety? Women's self-defense is the flagship. Enrolling a child, or training as a teen? See kids and teen classes. Curious how progression works? Level classes take you from Level 1 upward. Want to learn fast or train privately? Private lessons are one-on-one with an instructor. Just here for the workout? Fitness & conditioning brings the intensity. Whatever you pick, all levels are welcome — you don't need to be fit or experienced to start, and it's always fine to go at your own pace.
