From the reviews
Changing Lives Martial Arts has been amazing for my kid’s confidence and discipline. The instructors go out of their way to get to know the kids and encourage them through their journey through taekwondo.
Our daughter has enjoyed Greenbrier Changing Lives Martial Arts. She has attended for almost 2 years now. The instructors are great and it always amazes me how patient they are with the students. Mr. White is really good with the kids.
As a parent I was skeptical at first, & had my moments with all the fees involved, but as I've watched my daughter's outlook & confidence completely transform, I have to give an honest review. She loves CLMA & always looks forward to practices, the comradre & is very fond of all the instructors.
Fantastic instructors and great atmosphere. I would give 10 stars out of 10 if Google allowed it. I have seen kids start with no discipline and come out in a few months with discipline and the urge to leader other students. The course curriculum is designed to accommodate most kids with a slow and steady progression.
Your first Krav Maga class at Changing Lives Martial Arts Greenbrier
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
