My son loves to go to elite martial arts at Olathe location. He is taking the class for more than 2 years. His self confidence has increased and continues to progress. All the instructors are excellent with the kids. Special thanks to Mr and Mrs Bedford :) They instruct the students in a friendly atmosphere.
I have two boys and my oldest started Elite almost a year ago. Coming from a previous taekwondo school I can definitely see the difference in the instructors and what the kids are learning. I love Elite. Its helped out my oldest with his self-discipline and respect.
We’ve been training at Elite Olathe ATA since moving here, and it’s been an excellent experience. The atmosphere is friendly yet disciplined, and the instructors are truly dedicated — they tailor their approach for each student, mixing structure with encouragement (and even a bit of humor for younger kids!).
My son and I both train at Elite Martial Arts and we absolutely love it! Elite is very family-oriented and there are many families who train together, from little ones to grandparents! The quality and depth of the curriculum is incredible and the instructors are very knowledgeable and encouraging.
Your first Krav Maga class at Elite Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
