From the reviews
We are so glad we made the decision to enroll our son in these classes. Not only does it teach him a bit of patience (we all need that!), it helps him with discipline, learning to listen, gives him confidence, and most importantly get to learn to defend himself and others.
The owners and instructors at ATA truly care about their students. The training is excellent and has taught my son courtesy, respect, confidence and balance. My son has attended since age 5 and at age 14 is currently preparing for his third degree black belt.
I have certainly enjoyed my time at Evolution so far. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, fun, and always respectful. Each part of the class is easily modified to fit your skill and fitness level, so you are never stagnant as there's always an opportunity to work on yourself.
My 4 year old has been taking lessons here for a couple of months, and I must say I'm beyond satisfied with every aspect of the program. We instantly felt welcomed and the staff have been so kind and quick to answer all of our questions.
Your first Krav Maga class at Evolution Training Center
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
