From the reviews

The folks at ATA are quality instructors. They are kind and considerate of all the kids. I’ve watched their interactions during and outside of classes and find them to be classy and genuinely concerned for each kid. They teach large classes but somehow learn each kids name.

Our 7-year-old son has taken taekwondo at Ferocity for 2 years now, and it has been a great experience for him. I have never been to a studio like this where all the teachers teach all of the classes and know all of the kids names and their needs.

★★★★★ — Emily, Sep 2024

My kiddo has been in the Ferocity ATA program for 3 years and she absolutely loves it. The instructors are kind yet firm and so incredibly patient and they each do so well with all the kiddos.

★★★★★ — Madalyn, Sep 2024

Your first Krav Maga class at Ferocity ATA Martial Arts

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
