From the reviews

I joined back in 2003 and earned my black belt when I was 15 years old. I’m now 27 and being apart of impact martial arts changed my life. They make sure you earn your black belt instead of just getting one. I became a firefighter and earning my black belt was tougher than earning my badge.

As a mom who's always looking out for my kids' growth and safety, I can't rave enough about Impact Martial Arts! My kids absolutely love attending classes here. They've not only learned some killer martial arts moves but have also gained confidence, discipline, and focus—qualities that go beyond the dojo.

★★★★★ — Mel, Aug 2023

The team at Impact Martial Arts is truly outstanding. Two of my kids attended classes at Impact, and the training, staff, and pricing couldn't have been any better.

Your first Krav Maga class at Impact Martial Arts & Fitness

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
