From the reviews
Attended a 3-day boot camp at this Valparaiso location. The training is; thorough, practical and intense. George and Nick showed me how to surpass the physical obstacles existent with defense and how to push through it all!
If you are on the fence deciding whether or not to step out of your comfort zone, do it! You will not be disappointed! Your skill level can be next to nothing and you will leave having obtained the skills to count on yourself when you need it the most. The boot camp I attended was intense, but in the best way.
The 3-day boot camp offered at the Valpo location exceeded every expectation I had. It was mentally and physically challenging in the best way. George and Nick have their own equally incredible teaching styles. Their passion, knowledge and ability to connect was effective and inspiring.

Your first Krav Maga class at Krav Maga Valparaiso, Be Formidable
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
