From the reviews
I had organized an Intro Krav Maga class here with Joey the trainer. He was very professional & accommodating. Class went smoothly & everyone enjoyed the class immensely. Joey explained the techniques & made it very easy for everyone to understand. Service here was great; facilities was nice & clean.
One of the best krav mags instructors on the west coast teaches here, and you wouldn't know it from this unassuming gym. All of the instructors are excellent and the process are fair for what they offer. Not like other krav places I tried that has a very clic-y feel and were full of pumped up jocks.
This review is based on my first visit. I took a free introductory class and I loved it! Great instructor, great group of people. I really hope to be able to take classes in the near future.
Best Krav school ever! Thanks to Joey and his team! I’ve learned so much from them! I have a new level confidence when I’m out and about! It’s practical and real life self defense! Exactly what I was looking for!
Your first Krav Maga class at Krav Maga XD
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
