“They taught “real” kickboxing that focused on proper training and technique (not the “cardio kickboxing” that had become the fad of the moment).”
“We actually achieved the rank Shodan together under Master's Self Defense Centers, studying Shaolin Kenpo and other martial arts under Master Jerry Ingle.”

“I took kickboxing and krav maga, and I've got to admit that catching glimpses of the other classes made me want to sign up for those too because they're all so useful.”

“In some schools, If a student is experiencing some difficulty, the teacher might try to explain it once or twice and then will generally move on.”
From the reviews
In the early 2000's, I had the privilege of studying and training with Bill Logan. In the three decades that I have seriously practiced martial arts, I have not encountered an instructor that was more engaged, motivated, or sincere in their dedication to the development of their students than Mr. Logan.
I've personally trained with Master B. Logan for many years. We actually achieved the rank Shodan together under Master's Self Defense Centers, studying Shaolin Kenpo and other martial arts under Master Jerry Ingle.
My family and I have attended Logan's since 2014. After being involved with several martial arts schools over the past 30 years, I can truly say that Bill Logan and his instructors are the best. Bill teaches real-world self defense and his students earn every belt.
I serve as the director of Sisterhood for Chi Omega sorority at Florida State. We did a self defense class through Logan's martial arts academy for our sorority and had the best experience. The information was real and eye opening, and the techniques we were taught were very useful.
Your first Krav Maga class at Logan's Martial Arts Academy
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
