From the reviews
Over the past 17 months, my two children and I have been active members at Jones ATA! Master Jones and Mrs. Jones are compassionate individuals that deeply care for their students! I have watched my children grow not only physically, but emotionally as well!
Definitely a place for the entire family! My son earned his black belt from the school, my daughter is currently training for her black belt, & I take Krav Maga. Jones' ATA is excellent! Master Jones & Mrs. Jones make everyone feel welcome & they work with all levels.
My son will be 4 in January and has high functioning autism. When my husband and I decided to put him in a sport, we weren’t sure we would find something that suited him. My son started in October with Mrs. Jones and it was the best decision we ever made. She has been nothing short of amazing with him.
Your first Krav Maga class at Master Jones Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
