There are not enough wonderful things I can say about Master Kim and Mrs Kim at MegaKick! I wanted to find something for my youngest son that would help him develop all the right social and physical skills to be successful. We have found all that and much more here at MegaKick.
We cannot recommend MegaKick enough! The whole team is wonderful and you really feel like you're part of the family. The instructors do an amazing job knowing each student and helping them grow. Our daughter has been attending classes for about a year and a half.
We’ve had a great experience with Mega Kick Taekwondo in Powell—my child genuinely enjoys it. I believe that she can become confident and learn self discipline from her instructors (some of them are student instructors) apart from focus, strength and flexibility. The staff is friendly, patient and welcoming.
Your first Krav Maga class at Master Kim's MegaKick Tae Kwon Do & Alpha Krav Maga
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
