From the reviews
I trained in salt lake for the last year under professional mixed martial artists and professional boxers. My old coach has been invited a few times to try out for the UFC and bellator. When I moved to cedar I started to look around at different places to keep up my training. Mike really knows his stuff.
Our son Carter was so nervous to join this class. And now every day he has to go to one he gets so excited to go. Carter has learned to much in just the short 2 weeks he has been in the class. Michael is so patient with the kids and makes class so much fun!
Very impressive and Knowledgeable. So grateful to have found a place my kids can go to learn the skills and discipline needed to master the arts. The schedule is wonderful for working parents. Mike and Erick are great with the kids. They work with every skill level and no one is over looked.
Amazing class! Learned so much and it was such a great workout. Michael is a very patient and knowledgeable instructor, we'll definitely be back!!
Your first Krav Maga class at Mindful Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
