Our family has been so impressed with, and grateful for our experience with Premier Martial Arts of West Cary. Although martial arts was new to us, and potentially daunting for our 5 year old daughter, this studio made all of us feel so comfortable and supported from the beginning.
Awesome place! Mr. Malone and Mr. Kevin are an awesome duo and really love what they do, they are impacting the youth in the community. I enrolled my 9yo in the black belt class. I have saw a huge difference in her behavior, discipline, motivation and confidence level.
If you thought PMA Morrisville was just for the kids, think again! It is an absolutely great place to bring your child or teenager to help build self confidence, focus, agility, and kindness, and learn how to defend themselves if/whenever a situation may present itself.
It is a great place! Dojo at Morrisville not only offers fantastic training, but also such an inviting atmosphere. Sensei Ryan, Mr. Basil & Erik take time to know each student and parent with ease and authenticity. Classes are both structured and fun at the same time.
Your first Krav Maga class at Premier Martial Arts West Cary
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
