From the reviews

Listen, we all have days where we just need to hit something, and Strikefit is the answer. The instruction is clear and thorough, and most classes are small enough that anyone who is struggling can receive individual attention. I’ve never gone to a class with an instructor who wasn’t qualified, patient, and dedicated.

I really enjoy these strike fit classes. I usually go in the morning with Gino and on the weekends I take Tony’s class. Both trainers are experienced and provide a workout that will have you sweating! The classes are fun! I always look forward to going.

I highly recommend Strike Fit! I started Strike Fit 3 months ago from a friend's recommendation and was immediately hooked. I never find myself making excuses for missing a class, instead I'm always trying to fit in the next class! Amazing workout, excellent instructors, and a welcoming, supportive community.

Amazing Class! This class was a lot of fun and extremely tough. The instructor was very helpful demonstrating the strikes and proper movement . I recommend this class to any one that's looking for a great workout challenge. I've never sweated so much in one class . I absolutely love this class.

Your first Krav Maga class at StrikeFit Chicago

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
