From the reviews

Amazing school with wonderful instructors! My son has been a part of this school for over 3 years now and he has grown in to such a wonderful person because of the discipline and respect he has gained from Mrs. Cordry and her fellow instructors. They also do an excellent job with Special Needs students.

Ata is such a great space for kids to grow confidence and maturity. My Daughters confidence within herself grew so much in such a short time after starting classes. I love how encouraging the class leaders are. It has a family atmosphere. I would highly suggest anyone to join our Ata family!!

We signed up our 10 year old son and daughter for classes and they LOVE it. I’m very happy with the structure of the class and they stay busy the whole time so you really feel like you’re getting your moneys worth.

Your first Krav Maga class at Summit ATA Martial Arts

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
