>~*PLEASE READ*~< Went for the challenge, stayed because of the results. I went to this gym and participated in their 6 week challenge. I am a relatively healthy 26 year old, athletic, outdoor enthusiast, and I entered the challenge not to lose weight, but to become more tone.
Head Coach and law enforcement professional, Greg Miller has provided the perfect environment to master and train their reality based Alpha Krav Maga self defense, BJJ and pro wrestling classes to anyone interested.
The classes they teach are amazing. It doesn't matter if your an expert, a beginner, or anything in between they always have a spot for you. They really teach you from the level your at and bring you up as quickly as you can learn. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. The best gym I have ever been to by far.
This place is great. Have an amazing deal for membership. You get a card for 24/7 access and they have all the free weights and machines you could imagine. They teach martial arts too. Not very crowded. Could use a drinking fountain though so bring your own water.
Your first Krav Maga class at Xtreme Gym 247
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
