This place is awesome!! I was looking for a place to help me not only get in shape for my wedding, but also I’ve always wanted to learn self defense. My fiancé told me place as he had been training under this dojo master for years.
Great place to train and learn! The instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your full potential through self-defense and full body workouts.
Amazing and clean place. Had my second training today registered for their monthly plans. Eniko and Rory are simply exceptional. Photos to come soon!
I have been a student of this school for nearly my entire life. There is nobody that takes the training and teaching of students both new and old more seriously than Master Eni. She is a firm but understanding Master, who will give you the highest degree of training.
Your first Krav Maga class at YMA TAEKWONDO & KRAV MAGA LLC. WILMETTE
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
