From the reviews
Had the opportunity to train with Sifu Jeremiah while visiting San Diego recently. It was an awesome experience. Sifu Jeremiah really brings the reality component to light in every technique he teaches.
Been learning from Sifu for roughly one year. I have a varied martial arts background. I know quality instruction when I see it and the Cali Combat System is quality. It is a very practical martial art. I highly recommend it.
Cali Combat was just what I was looking for! I have studied martial arts for years but I wanted to supplement my experience with some combative/tactical skills and Jeremiah does just that. His program is a comprehensive, practical system that includes training in grappling, striking, and weapons.
I love training under Sifu Jeramiah and learning his system. He’s learned from some of the best martial art legends, and it shows. He’s extremely knowledgeable in realistic street self defense and weapons tactics, and explains the science and history behind his teachings.
Your first Krav Maga class at Cali Combat Systems: Jeet Kune Do, Kali, Jiu-Jitsu and Krav Maga
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
