From the reviews
I just completed the concealed weapons permit class with Counter-Strike international. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable, extremely personable and friendly. The instructors are very competent and more than happy to answer any question you had.
I really enjoyed taking the concealed weapon class from CounterStrikes! It was a great learning environment and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand without feeling overwhelming.
I chose this organization for my CCW instruction because of the trusted experience and concise explanations for Firearm safety. The instructor is a very experienced LEO who was able to relate real world scenarios to think through when applying appropriate self defense protection.
It's a great community to bea part of. The knowledge and training are good for the real world and there's never a dull moment. Highly recommend.
Your first Krav Maga class at Counter Strikes Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
