From the reviews

Our daughter has been going to Elite Force for a few weeks now and if she could go everyday, she would! She gets so excited and wakes up asking if today is “karate day”. The team is wonderful and Master Mike is amazing with children and very attentive to detail.

Fantastic dojo that balances traditional karate and modern martial arts. There is something here for everyone of all ages. The staff is very knowledgeable starting with the school owner Master Mike, and Sensei Connie who is active on the tournament circuit.

★★★★★ — Michael, Oct 2025

Elite Force Martial Arts isn't just an "extracurricular activity." It becomes an incredible lifestyle that challenges you or your child to be a better version of yourself every day, both on and off the mats.

★★★★★ — Nikolette, Mar 2015

My son Mark has been coming here for about 6 weeks, and I can not say enough good things about Elite Force Fort Lauderdale! Facility is clean, staff are all friendly, and they all obviously love children.

Your first Krav Maga class at Elite Force Martial Arts

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
