From the reviews
Lots of fun when you have a moment to catch your breath and take it all in. 1 hours class usually will wear me out pretty well. Good cardio and strength building combined plus you also get to learn self defense in the process! I have had gym memberships before and stopped going soon after as is typical.
I’ve been training at FTF Atlanta for a year now and I can proudly say I’ve been loving it. Before COVID, I was there 5-6 days a week. Even now they are offering both in person and Zoom classes, I appreciate I have an opportunity to continue my training while feeling safe.
I haven't gotten the chance to visit this establishment as I've moved but I was looking for information on Krav Maga and called hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Morgan answered and told me that she would look into it for me.
I've been going to Fit to Fight for about 5 years now. I wanted to learn effective self defense, and the moment I tried out a class, I was hooked. It makes me feel better walking around the city on my own, and I've made lifelong friends while learning to protect myself.
Your first Krav Maga class at Fight the Fear Krav Maga
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
