We are currently working with Sensei Josh. Myself and my two children for almost two years. He is amazing with the kids, kind, patient, effective and an overall positive roll-model! As an adult taking his class, he has a way of teaching which makes it easy to understand. He is encouraging and supportive.

There are few people more gifted, kind and skilled at working with kids (and with adults as well!) that I have ever had the privilege of coming across. Josh is an amazing educator and gifted leader.

Sensei Josh is an amazing teacher. All three of our daughters take classes with him twice a week and they love it. They're more confident and focused since joining his classes! If you're interested in a great place to learn and grow for your kids ( and/or yourself) then Kingdom Martial Arts is the place for you!

Your first Krav Maga class at Kingdom Martial Arts

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
