From the reviews
Amazing martial arts studio with a very positive and welcoming environment. You learn a lot in every class, and the instructors are patient, professional, and very supportive, making each class engaging and easy to follow. Perfect for all ages and all experience levels. Highly recommended.
Master King is an exceptional instructor. He is patient, attentive, and truly invested in his students’ growth. My daughter has ADHD, and since starting Taekwondo with him, she has excelled quickly.
We were bringing our son here since he was 3 years old and I need to say that there is no better martial arts classes in LA then this. We tried many but what master King is doing with kids and how much they love his energy and approach is unique and you can not find that anywhere else.
Master King is an inspiring, incredible teacher. He is the perfect balance of power, spirit, and play. He has been an excellent mentor for my 9 year old son. I have also appreciated the community he creates. He is very compassionate and considerate.
Your first Krav Maga class at King's ATA Celebrity Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
