From the reviews
We love bringing our kids to KMMA to learn self defense, confidence & leadership. Sensei James is a fantastic leader with a passion for passing on knowledge which is very evident if you take one of his classes.
Love this place my son joined after school registration last year I have since joined, as well love the instructors Sensai James and Senpai Jaiden are AMAZING with the kids and very patient with teaching self discipline! Would highly recommend for anyone!!
Training at KMMA has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, positive, and full of motivation. The senseis are amazing — always supportive, patient, and genuinely invested in helping each student reach their potential.
We’ve had a great experience with KMMA School so far. You can really tell they are family-oriented and truly care about the kids. They focus on building confidence, structure, discipline, and strong values in a positive and supportive environment.
Your first Krav Maga class at Krav Maga Martial Arts - Port Richey
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
