From the reviews
Sensei Andrew is a fantastic teacher and Marine combat veteran with a serious dedication to teaching his students to defend themselves and their loved ones. My children have been attending for about a year and it's remarkable to see the increase in their confidence and skill.
Great place with an amazing atmosphere that worked around our schedule. Private lessons that are tailored for me and my sons to fine tune our weekly lessons and help us to work together.Instructors that put students first and truly care about individual progression than just pushing for the next belt.
Great instructor, challenging classes, rewarding results. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a tested personal defense system.
Just an amazing person very diverse background in martial arts very rare to find an instructor so focused on development. Absolutely amazing
Your first Krav Maga class at Krav Maga Shield Ormond Beach
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
