From the reviews

What a difference this school has made in our family! We originally had our son at another school and realized he needed Challenged! We knew MAA was right from the first class! Our son just tested for Black Belt and his progress in the last 3 years is off the chart. He’s really learned how to NOT QUIT!

★★★★★ — Christen, Dec 2023

My son has been attending this martial arts school, and I can honestly say it has helped him in so many ways. I have seen improvements not only in his physical strength, but also in his confidence, discipline, and focus. As a mom, it means a lot to see my child enjoy something that is also positive and productive.

★★★★★ — French, Dec 2025

They are super family oriented and super compassionate! I'd recommend this place to everyone and anyone! Learning and discipline for the whole family! My oldest is thriving because of the community and life skills he is learning! We love it here so much that I am going to enroll myself!

Your first Krav Maga class at Martial Arts Advantage

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
