From the reviews
We started my daughter here after seeing a free trial month. Since then, my daughter has enjoyed this school and talks about it with her friends all the time! The main instructor is awesome and knowledgeable! Highly recommend this school for all ages!
Mrs Drew and Mss. Abby make a great team. My son has been carrying some of the class lessons home. Their leadership and guidance helped my son to be kind and respectful. All the kids in the class have been a great example as well.truly grateful for this class.
We absolutely love it here!! I love what my son is learning here!! It’s so cool to learn an over 2500 year old Jewish fighting techniques! We love Ms. Drew! Can’t wait for our daughter to start!!!
Amazing community! Such a knowledgeable and caring instructor. Ms. Drew genuinely cares for all her students and it shows in classes. I’m sold!
Your first Krav Maga class at Nashville Krav Maga - Columbia
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
