My 6 and 8 year olds have ADD/ADHD and Instructor Shaw is SOOOOO wonderful with them! She really kept the energy high, kept a focus on respect and self-discipline. They walked out of their first session with her, with their heads held high and racing to open the door for me as we left! Wow!
Instructor Shaw is who we I initially met with for our son to do the trial classes. We absolutely love instructor Shaw, she was amazing with keeping the energy when our son’s energy dipped during orientation. We have decided to continue with the program and believe the instructors are very knowledgeable and supportive.
We’ve been attending PMA Flower Mound since Oct 2021. My son has learned so much in a short time that we have been here. His confidence and focus have vastly improved, as well as his respect for self and authority.

Your first Krav Maga class at Premier Martial Arts Flower Mound
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
