From the reviews
It’s a great place for the kids to learn about Karate. Joel is a great teacher making the class so fun for the kids to enjoy and learn the discipline of the class.
Our whole family love this place! The instructor is amazing. Karate Dave teaches in a way that is fun for kids but they learn so much. The adult class is very inspiring. He is a great guy. We highly recommend this place.
Karate Dave is fantastic. He is stern when he needs to be, but also hilarious and fun. They really focus on confidence building, listening, and respect. The parents night out is a plus. My son enjoyed going here. The reason I decided to look elsewhere was because I didn't feel like my son was being pushed.
This place is outstanding and Mr. Goron is amazing. My daughter has only been attending a couple of weeks now and she absolutely loves it! She is delayed in many areas and has a motor planning delay. Mr. Goron has the patience and passion for teaching kids.
Your first Krav Maga class at Premier Martial Arts Peoria
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
