Apex Krav Maga teaches the highest level of self-defense training with an uncompromising attention to the little details that make all the difference. This has been the best place to learn Krav Maga. Coach Britt is an amazing instructor. The classes are always interesting, challenging, and fun. This is just as true after 2 years of training as it was when I started.
The best! I have been training with Britt for the past 12 years. He is a true professional who delivers an outstanding service. If you are like me and looking for a no nonsense training atmosphere you found it. Do yourself a favor and try a class this week!
I've been training at Apex Krav Maga for over a year now. I highly recommend Apex to anyone who's interested in learning practical self-defense. The classes cover all aspects of self-defense, from striking and grappling to situational awareness and weapons defenses. What I like most about this place is the culture.
Your first Krav Maga class at Apex Krav Maga
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
