From the reviews
The Capobiancos are the best! I started with them when i was a child when they were starting out in the firehouse in east brunswick decades ago. They are still in business after all these decades which says a lot about how good this organization is.
We enrolled both our children over 5 years ago in Capobianco's ATA school. We chose Taekwondo to help our son learn to focus in school and for the discipline the sport provides. We wanted our daughter to be strong and one day learn how to defend herself.
A place where CHAMPIONS are made!!!! It saddens me to see the 2 negative reviews especially with a school that truly lives and thrives on impacting a generation to be the best version of themselves. As a student starting martial arts at the young age of 35 i will say what a great pace to start.
Truly amazing place where kids get to be kids AND learn discipline, respect, defense and so much more! The instructors are truly the best and keep the kids engaged!
Your first Krav Maga class at ATA Black Belt Academy
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
