Our family discovered Champions Karate last year, and we could not be more grateful. Both of my sons attend the weekly classes and absolutely love them. Sensei's teaching style is creative, enthusiastic, and rigorous—he goes above and beyond to ensure that every student reaches their highest potential.

Champions Karate has been an amazing environment and experience for my kiddo to learn! Sensei meets each student where they are at and focuses on them trying their best, while improving their skill Level! He is so knowledgeable and kind hearted, I would recommend his classes to anyone, adult or child!

Absolutely fabulous! My three boys are in it (ages 5,7,9) and they all love it. Sensei is incredible with the children. My kids are more focused, disciplined, and confident since they started. Do not hesitate and come for a trial class.

Your first Krav Maga class at Champions Karate and Krav Maga

Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Krav Maga is a contact activity. Ease in, train at your own pace, listen to your instructors, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
