From the reviews
My sons confidence has grown so much since he’s been training here. Even his school teachers have noticed. The instructors are great. You not only work together in a class setting but also in a one on one setting.
My son has been taking Taekwondo lesson here for last 3.5 years. The staff is very knowledgeable, personable and professional. They work with the kids on their level and help them to not only develop their martial arts skills but also life skills.
I transferred to this studio from an ATA studio in a different state, and after spending a few years at both, I can confidently say this studio is ran very efficiently and professionally. The instructors are very nice and are willing to help students as much as they need.
Our son has been a student at Hockman’s for almost a year and a half. In that time, he has gained strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and most importantly confidence in himself.
Your first Krav Maga class at Hockman's ATA Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
