I have trained under Quintin for over 2 years now. Not only he is a Black belt in Krav and certified as an instructor by Krav Maga Worldwide organization, but he is also an absolutely talented individual who cares for the growth of his students in all aspects - always striving to improve.
I have trained under Quintin's instruction for almost two years now. He is a fantastic instructor and makes sure his students understand the techniques while also pushing you to become better. Quintin has many years of experience and is a black belt in Krav Maga.
I’ve been going to Lion of Judah Academy since January 2025, and it has been a great experience so far. Not only has it allowed my 6 year old son and I to bond, but it has also given us both more confidence. To do this in a Christian environment is an added bonus.
Quintin is an amazing teacher and he provides a great environment for people to work out and train in. His lessons are great and he teaches us very useful techniques so I think that he is one of the best teachers you can go to right now.
Your first Krav Maga class at Lion of Judah Academy
Nervous about walking into a Krav Maga school for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling a few core techniques with a partner — controlled and at your own pace, not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move in — there's no uniform or special gear you need to buy to get started. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — most schools have everything else you'll need for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call what to bring. Pressure-testing eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid — you won't be sparring hard on day one. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet the instructor. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
